Welcome to AKC/ASCA, a heartwarming family hobby kennel that captures the essence of love, dedication, and the timeless bond between humans and Australian Shepherds. Our kennel is an extension of our family, owned and operated by myself, my wife, and our children. Our passion for these incredible dogs was ignited by my wife’s upbringing, surrounded by Australian Shepherds as her parents bred and raised them. From the time she could walk, she would immerse herself in play with the adorable puppies, a tradition that etched a deep love for the breed in her heart.

In 2007, my wife’s journey with Australian Shepherds took a transformative turn when she welcomed Skyler into our lives. Skyler, a breathtaking blue merle, became an irreplaceable part of our family and forever changed my wife’s perspective. As a licensed Veterinarian Technician, she has the privilege of working alongside some of the nation’s finest professionals. It was through this experience that her fascination grew, witnessing dogs who excelled in conformation shows and diverse performance events. This ignited a resolute desire within her to not only compete with her own dogs but also to fulfill a dream of breeding, showing, and trialing this exceptional and versatile breed.

Drawing on her expertise in veterinary medicine, my wife is committed to producing the healthiest puppies possible. Genetic testing and a foundation of strong, sound stock are fundamental aspects of our breeding program. We understand the significance of responsible breeding and the impact it has on the overall well-being of each precious pup.

Furthermore, my wife’s dedication to the Australian Shepherd community is evident through her involvement in the Australian Shepherd Club of America. Holding esteemed officer positions within the club, she actively contributes to the betterment of the breed and the promotion of responsible ownership.
